Welcome to our family homepage, I have been working frequently to create a new website using a new program that I have had to learn from A to Z on my own:) I have the site up and functioning 100% now and will be adding and changing things more as I learn the program better and as things change in our lives. So I guess its been over a year since I have updated on here and SOOOO much has changed since then...Ill see if I can sum it up a little!..
Damien is 19 months old now and he is such a smart little one! He has pretty much potty trained himself and is in undies full time through naps and bed time and everything! He does great most of the time although with the lack of talking he has his fair share of accidents. They are getting fewer and fewer these days though!:) He will be starting school in the 1 year old class at BBMS where Alana goes on Sept 15th. I am excited for him to be a little more structured in learning and starting to talk more. Not to mention a few hours break a few times a week for me! That's always a plus! Other then that he is still sleeping great and eating great and is a very active and crazy little boy that likes to torment his sister on a daily basis!:)
Alana is 3 years old now and she amazes me sometimes with how well she talks for her age. She picks up on every word that Kevin and I say and starts using it regularly! She LOVES to learn and cant wait to get back to school in September. She tells me daily how she misses her friends and her teachers. Since they don't start school for another month she got a workbook to do every day and we are practicing her letters and numbers and working on writing them now! She just loves to do it! Of course she also loves to color and play with her brother even though he annoys her frequently :) She also decided she would no longer be afraid of the pool this year and started swimming all by herself! She is doing fantastic with that now!
Kevin and I are doing great and still working on remodeling the kitchen in our house. most of it is done but we are now saving for the countertops to be put in. Hopefully the first of the year we will get to that then the next step is the roof!:) little by little we are getting there...and now that all thoughts of selling the house in the near future are crushed with this crappy housing market we are just going to keep at it little by little and if nothing else the house will be in great condition to live in for years to come!:) I think that brings us up to date for now!:)
